Users, Roles, and Locale Permissions
Invite teammates, understand admin versus translator access, and scope translators to the right locales.

Use Settings > Users to manage who can work inside a project.
Typical role split
- admins configure the project, Contentful connection, and operational settings
- translators focus on the translation and review work assigned to them
Locale-scoped translators
Translator access can be restricted to specific target locales.
That is useful when:
- a reviewer owns only one language
- vendor access should stay narrow
- regional teams should not affect each other
Invitations
Invite people into the project instead of sharing credentials. That keeps activity attributable to the right user and makes it easier to remove access later.
Permission design advice
Keep the number of admin users small. Translation quality improves when more people can review language, but operational safety improves when fewer people can change CMS settings or automation behavior.
